This video highlights that when the instructions are wrong things can go differently. For example Josh Darnit was making a peanut butter jelly sandwich following the instructions that his kids made. But it was going all wrong because their language and communication proficiency lacked. It also shows us that it’s essential for communication to be precise otherwise it will be hard to follow along. This video relates to my technical description assignment because it teaches me to be as specific as I can and don’t miss out on a single detail. So, it is easier for the audience to understand what I am talking about and helps them to follow my instructions without getting lost or confused.  It also helps me to understand how important it is to be concise and precise with my writing. Furthermore, it will be helpful for the audience to know what they have to do step by step without misleading them. Yes, this video changed the way I viewed technical communication because before watching this video I didn’t know how important it is to be clear with words and details. I didn’t have the idea of how essential it is to be concise and precise with the details because if any single detail is missing the whole procedure can follow a different route. Try to be as detailed as possible even if you think the readers may understand what you are trying to say. Try to simply break down every step while writing. Ultimately, it will be easier for the audience to understand, they won’t be misled and would be able to follow the directions the writer has mentioned without getting confused.
